Recipe

ingredients 1.5L water, 100g tapioka starch, 5g agar agar powder, 3g baking soda, 1 tbsp beet juice

Preparation

  1. bring 500ml of water to a boil
  2. dissolve baking soda, stirr in agar agar powder and cook for one more minute
  3. stirr in beet juice ,set aside to let cool completely
  4. stirr the tapioka starch into 250ml of cold water
  5. bring 750mlwater to a boil
  6. whisk the tapioka-water into the boiling water
  7. cook while constantly stirring until translucent, take of the heat immediately so it does not burn and set aside to cool
  8. once the agar has set into a gel, smash into little chunks and stirr into the tapioka
  • if you want it to look a bit uglyer mix a pinch of turmeric powder into the the mess

Disposal

cleaning stains can be removed with water, stubborn patches may need help from a brush

disposal since it is foodgrade, it can be disposed of as you would, food scraps
